Featured Species: Spix’s Macaw

Until the mid-1980’s the Spix’s Macaw was doomed to extinction with fewer than 80 individuals left in the world! Now The Loro Parque Fundacion is working on recovery efforts to bring this once great species back to the wild where it belongs.  Check out their web site and donate if you can.

At This Time - Wanted!!! Breeding Pairs of Great Green Macaws “Buffon’s Macaws” and Blue-Throated Macaws.

Carolina Parakeet

Central Wisconsin’s most exceptional parrots fors sale.  We offer wonderful hand tame, lovable, fully weaned parrots.  At Parrot Plaza, we breed Pacific ( Celestial ) Parrotlets, Timneh African Grays, Grand Eclectus, and Various Conures for pets.  For many years we have been serving the community with beautiful, friendly, well adjusted pet parrots, and now we are happily headed forward in a new direction.

Currently we are breeding Grand Eclectus Parrots and test breeding Eclectus Parrots that may come out as hybrid Eclectus Parrots.  Due to the similarities of male Eclectus Parrots subspecies many birds sold are not what they seem.  We

generally breed a known female species with a male in question.  These babies once colored out are sold as pets only.  Once the male species is determined we then pair the eclectus up accordingly.

We also breed ( Celestial ) Pacific Parrotlets.  Right now we have blue mutation parrotlets and normal green parrotlets.  We plan to breed American Yellow Parrotlets in the future.

Our Timneh African Gray Parrots are exceptional birds and are very good talkers and excellent whistlers. I would recommend a Timneh African Gray to anyone who loves a bird that is smart and learns new things very well.  Timneh African Grays are also a bit smaller than congos and tend to let anyone handle them.

Along with our pets for sale we have been breeding several different types of endangered parrots that are not common in captivity.

Our New Mission is to use parrot species already LEGALLY found in captivity, that are endangered in the wild, and help better establish their breeding populations.  Selling “common” non-endangered parrots helps us fund the purchases and testing of rare and endangered parrots.continue.....
